Shipping commences next week!

Greetings everyone,

Our employees are close to finishing the quality checking for our bags, and will soon be moving on to pairing the bags with their accompanying enamel pins. After this is done, which is expected to be the middle of next week, we expect to begin shipping orders not containing the following bags:

• Australian Shepherd
• Dhole
• Thylacine
• Sawyer the Pride Fox

The above bag designs are still in production right now, but for customers with orders not containing those bags, we want to start shipping your products ASAP so you can start enjoying them. According to our Backerkit report, there are 425 of you with orders not containing these items!

Backerkit has sent out an e-mail asking you to confirm your shipping address. The address field on surveys will lock in 48 hours.

This is important, so read carefully: if you need to change your address after Backerkit locks the addresses in 48 hours, you will need to contact customer support at [email protected] and provide the e-mail and name for your Kickstarter account, as well as the new address.

These 425 orders will likely be finished shipping in around a month, roughly by 5/1/2022.

Furry Weekend Atlanta Pick-Ups

If you are in the group above, and you have not received a tracking number for your bag by April 28, 2022 and you wish to pick up your order at Furry Weekend Atlanta, you may email [email protected] on April 28th with your backer email and name and we'll pack your order and add it to our truck heading down to Atlanta.

Local Pickup

If you selected local pick up (because you're in Chicago, IL) and want to pick up your order, please contact [email protected] after April 5, 2022 and we can arrange an appointment for you.

We hope our customers get plenty of joy and happiness from our bags. We're really looking forward to seeing them running around conventions, too! :)

Quality checking starts

Quality Checking

As products start to arrive, the employees have begun checking them. They're sorting the products into piles of good ones and misprinted ones to ensure that Kickstarter Backers get the best product we can offer.

All faces and tails except for Sawyer, Thylacine, Australian Shepherd, and Dhole are currently in and will be undergoing quality checking for the next couple of weeks.

Some quantities of the black bags are currently in, but we have a large shipment of them (the bulk order) that's expected to arrive soon as it just reached the US port.

Timeline

Our timeline has moved forward a little as we anticipate being able to ship them earlier than expected:

April: We expect the quality checking for the designs above to be completed, and can begin shipping those products. All the pins are in, so it's just a question of sorting through the faces and tails to make sure there are no issues in the individual packages we send out!

July: The remaining designs (Sawyer and the sponsored designs) should arrive for shipment. After quality checking, they can be shipped out as well.

For those of you looking to pick up your bags at conventions, we anticipate we should be able to bring customer pick-ups to the following conventions: Furry Weekend Atlanta (possibly), Biggest Little Fur Con, Anthrocon. Please wait to contact us about convention pick-ups until we make the official announcement that we can begin prepping packages for FWA pickup.

Address Changes

Remember, if you want to change your address, you can do so through Backerkit. Backerkit's address fields won't be locked for shipment until we are ready to begin the first stage of shipping. Until that point (which is expected to begin in April) you can continue to adjust your address through your Backerkit survey at your preference.

Hello everyone!

We are chugging along toward reaching the first milestone for the project, which is receiving in all of the enamel pins.

We have a good amount of them in, though there are still a few we're working on! Still, it's nice to see some of them here, and they look very nice :)

The samples for our three sponsored designs (Australian Shepherd, Thylacine, and Dhloe) have been completed, and the mass production order for those went in a few days ago. We expect the manufacturer to begin production of this batch after Chinese New Year ends, sometime in the middle of February.

*Note: These are displayed on a silver bag that was not available in the campaign and is used only for photos.

Some of the products are making their way over as of mid-January; it looks like some of the black (base) bags and some of the head and tail sets are on their way. The wait time for sea shipping is fairly large, so we might estimate around two months before these products arrive.

(Where we are going to put these boxes is another story...)

It's good to see the movement and progress of the project over the months. What an exciting time is ahead of us!

Well, that's all we have for now. There may be a lull of around two months as we wait for the sea shipment to come in, then receive and inventory everything that's in the boxes. At that point, we may be able to start segmenting some of the orders and picking out the ones we have available for fulfillment. We'll see what's available for shipment when the boxes arrive!

Survey complete! Manufacturing begins

It's time for an update!

The survey deadline has passed, and about 90% of you have answered your surveys! Great!

The manufacturing order is in, and we're already starting to get progress pictures!

Our three sponsored designs are in the process of getting their samples! Right now we're checking sizing to make sure that they match the rest of the set. Looks good!

The black Modular Bags are chugging along -- we're getting around 800 of them!

These should get done pretty quickly, as they don't take as much time as the face and tail combinations. Faces and Tails have a lot of printing, and will take up the majority of our production timeline.

All enamel pins associated with the project are in production now, and we're currently reviewing the manufacturing proofs.

As production chugs along, we'll keep you updated! So far, everything is going according to our timeline. We expect to receive the pins around mid-January, and upon receiving them, we'll show you how they came out!
